Formati da una band precedente, gli Attack the Sun sono Alessandro Stevani (voce, tastiere e rapping) e Giacomo Feltre (batteria). Il progetto è iniziato nel 2015.

A metà del 2016 hanno iniziato a registrare, con le loro forze, quella che sarà poi la loro prima demo omonima. Il 27 luglio 2017 esce sia in formato fisico che digitale. Dal 2020 la band ha deciso di proporla al pubblico solo in versione digitale sulla famosa piattaforma di e-commerce BandCamp.

 

A Settembre 2017 hanno partecipato al Marilù Rock Contest #5, arrivando secondi in classifica. Con il nuovo anno hanno partecipato a vari contest tra cui Vicenza Rock Contest, Pistoia Blues Festival: Obiettivo BluesIn, Sanremo Rock & Trend Festival ed Invasioni Sonore.

 

Il 26 maggio 2018 vincono la 9° edizione del Vicenza Rock Contest andando di diritto a suonare al Ferrock Festival di Vicenza, in apertura ai Los Massadores, e al MEI (Meeting delle Etichette Indipendenti) di Faenza.

 

Il 28 settembre è stato pubblicato il loro primo singolo Nothing Better, disponibile su tutte le piattaforme di streaming e con un video ufficiale su YouTube. Il 27 settembre hanno fatto uscire la premiere del videoclip su RockOn.it.

Nel marzo 2019 escono con un nuovo EP dal titolo Parallel Systems contenente il primo singolo Nothing Better uscito qualche mese prima. Un anno esatto dopo l’uscita di Nothing Better, il trio esce con un secondo singolo dal titolo By My Side estratto sempre da Parallel Systems. Il 27 settembre hanno fatto uscire la premiere del videoclip su SKY TG24.

Nel giugno 2020 partecipano ad una bellissima iniziativa di beneficienza per i bambini vittime degli stati di guerra per War Child UK e promossa da Hot Vox con una live streaming utilizzando la piattaforma Tiltify.

Il 22 Novembre 2020 il trio veronese ha rilasciato il terzo singolo Our Demons, disponibile su tutte le piattaforme streaming e con il videoclip ufficiale su YouTube. A distanza di un anno circa, il 25 novembre 2021, escono con un nuovo singolo Golden House pubblicando il videoclip ufficiale su YouTube. Il 26 novembre il singolo è disponibile su tutte le piattaforme streaming e darà il nome al loro secondo EP disponibile dal 25 marzo 2022 digitalmente. A giugno 2022 partecipano alle Auditions di X Factor 2022 e il 14 luglio 2022 sono band d’apertura dei The Zen Circus allo Sherwood Festival 2022 di Padova. Il 29 settembre escono con il secondo singolo Red Eye pubblicando il videoclip ufficiale su YouTube. Il 29 ottobre aprono al gruppo italiano emo punk dei dARI al The Factory di Verona e il 10 novembre al rapper americano Oliver Tree e ai Melancholia ai MAGAZZINI GENERALI di Milano. L’evento è stato ufficialmente confermato SOLD OUT. Dopo quasi un anno tornano in una nuova veste, come duo. Con Cosmophonix Production co-producono il loro nuovo singolo Paranoia disponibile dal 15 marzo 2024 e distribuito da Virgin Music LAS/Universal Music che anticiperà di fatto il loro nuovo EP e terzo lavoro in studio omonimo. Il 26 marzo 2024 esce il videoclip promozionale di Paranoia. Il 26 Aprile 2024, un mese dopo, escono con il secondo singolo dell'EP intitolato Black Wall.

Formed in 2015 by a previous band, Attack the Sun is Alessandro Stevani (vocals and keyboards) and Giacomo Feltre (drums).

 

The band takes its first steps with some live in its areas after that they only took a break from the live scenes.

In mid-2016 it starts recording what will then be its first official demo. On July 27th, releases it physically and digitally (BandCamp). In September 2017 it participates to Rock Marilù Contest #5, coming second in the standings. With a new year it goes also to other contests such as Vicenza Rock Contest, Pistoia Blues Festival, Sanremo Rock & Trend Festival, Sound Invasions. 26th May 2018 it wins the ninth edition of Vicenza Rock Contest as well as the chance to be the opening act for Los Massadores at Ferrock Festival on 14th July 2018. At the end of September the guys had the opportunity to play at the MEI (Meeting of Independent Labels) in Faenza, Emilia-Romagna.

 

On 28th September, it releases its first official single Nothing Better - Single, on all the streaming platforms, accompanied by the official video on YouTube. On September 27th it releases the premiere of the videoclip on RockOn.it.

In March 2019 it comes out with a new EP entitled Parallel Systems containing the first single Nothing Better released a few months earlier. Exactly one year after the release of Nothing Better, the trio comes out with a second single entitled By My Side also extracted from Parallel Systems. On September 27th it releases By My Side’s premiere on SKY TG24. 

In June 2020 they participate in a beautiful charity initiative for children victims of warfare for War Child UK and promoted by Hot Vox with a live streaming using the Tiltify platform.

22th November 2020, the trio releases its third single Our Demons available on all streaming platforms and with an official videoclip on YouTube. About a year later, on November 25, 2021, they come out with a new single

Golden House by publishing the official video clip on YouTube. On November 26th, the single is available on all streaming platforms and will name their second EP available digitally from March 25, 2022. In June 2022 the trio participated at X Factor Italy 2022's Auditions and on 14th July 2022 they are the opening band of The Zen Circus at the

Sherwood Festival 2022 in Padua, Italy. On September 29th they come out with the second single Red Eye

releasing the official music video on YouTube. On October 29th it is the opening act of Italian emo punk

band of dARI at The Factory in Verona and on November 10th to the American rapper Oliver Tree and

Melancholia at MAGAZZINI GENERALI in Milan. The event was confirmed SOLD OUT.

After nearly a year, they return in a new guise, as a duo. Teaming up with Cosmophonix Production, they co-produce their new single Paranoia available from March 15, 2024, and distributed by Virgin Music LAS/Universal Music, effectively anticipating their new self-titled EP, their third studio album. On March 26, 2024, the promotional music video for Paranoia is released. Then, on April 26, 2024, a month later, they release the second single from the EP, titled Black Wall.
